Aromatherapy Essential Oils for Cancer

Essential oils natural healing remedy will not heal cancer but can act as a complementary treatment to help patients cope with the physical and psychological symptoms of cancer as well as the side effects from cancer chemotherapy, radiation therapy and surgery.  If undergoing cancer treatment, always consult your healthcare provider before self-administering aromatherapy treatment.  Secondly, remember to perform a skin-patch sensitivity test before applying directly to skin as some oils could cause skin irritation.

For insomnia - inhale cedarwood, lavender or sweet marjoram

 

Blend 4


For nausea or appetite loss - inhale peppermint, cardomom, ginger, lemon or spearmint

 

Blend 5


To stimulate regrowth of hair - apply rosemary essential oil to stimulate hair growth after hair has fallen out after chemotherapy.
