Flower Remedies for Insomnia

Chamomile tea is known to provide a calming effect hence effective for those suffering from insomnia.  In fact, the chamomile flower has been long used since ancient times as a cure for insomnia and as an aid for an effective sleep.  This natural healing cure is either in the form of brewed tea or just simply placing the chamomile flowers into a sachet and then beneath a pillow.

Chamomile
 

Add in 1 teaspoon of dried anthemis nobilis chamomile, also known as Matricaria chamomile flowers into 1 cup of boiling water.  Allow to steep for about 5 mins. before sipping.  For the cure to be most effective, sip this chamomile tea about 30 to 45 minutes before sleeping.
 

Note: If preferred, you can also add some natural honey, lemon juice or some milk to the chamomile tea.
