Juicing Recipes for Anemia

Apricot,  Orange, Parsley and Spirulina Juice

 

The lack of folate, vitamin B12 and iron can give rise to anemia.  This healthy juicing recipe contains the properties of all these 3 important ingredients which helps to maintain healthy blood.

 

6 dried apricots

1/2 cup water

1 cup fresh orange juice

15 grams finely chopped fresh parsley

1/2 tsp spirulina

 

Chop the apricots until fine then put both apricots and water into a saucepan.  Bring to boil, lower heat and simmer for about 15 minutes.  Remove from heat and let it stand until cool.  Next put all ingredients including the cooked apricots together with its liquid through a blender.  Blend until smooth.
