Juicing Recipes for Arthritis

Cucumber, Apple, Ginger and Turmeric Juice

 

Both cucumber and apple are excellent sources of silica which is essential for healthy bones and connective tissues while both feverfew and turmeric contains anti-inflammatory properties.  This combination of fruit and vegetable juice is helpful in reducing pain from arthritis

 

1 Japanese cucumber

1 green apple

1/2 inch piece of fresh ginger

6 fresh feverfew leaves

1 inch piece of fresh turmeric

 

Place all ingredients except feverfew into a blender.  Finely chopped feverfew leaves, add into blender and whisk them together.

 

Pineapple, Ginger, Celery and Watercress Juice

 

This makes a very good anti-inflammatory drink as the pineapple, ginger and celery all contain anti-inflammatory properties while the watercress contains chlorophyll, iron and folate.  Put the following ingredients through a domestic blender and enjoy this healthy arthritis reliever juice.

 

1/4 fresh pineapple

1/2 inch piece fresh ginger

2 celery stalks with leaves

80 grams watercress
