Juicing Recipes for Asthma

Carrot,  Lime, Watercress and Ginger Juice


Carrot contains beta-carotene which is beneficial for mucous membrane care.  Watercress has magnesium effective in helping to relax the muscles in our airway.  Ginger is excellent in helping to expel excess mucus and lime contain vitamin C which is great to help boosts immune system and reduces inflammation.


2 big carrots

1/2 lime, peeled

1 tsp grated lime zest

30 grams watercress

1/2 inch piece fresh ginger


Process all ingredients except the lime zest through a juice extractor.  Whisk in the lime zest, stir well before drinking.
