Juicing Recipes for Bronchitis

Onion,  Honey and Lemon Juice


Both onion and honey are excellent in helping to break up and expel mucus.  At the same time, honey is also great in soothing a sore throat.  Lemon provides the vitamin C compound that helps to enhance immune system and minimize inflammation.  Thus the combination of all these ingredients makes for an excellent tonic drink that can help greatly to reduce congestion of bronchitis.


1 large onion

5-6 tbsps honey

1 cup hot water

4 tbsps fresh lemon juice


Mix both onion and honey is a small bowl, cover and leave in the refrigerator until next day.  Remove from the refrigerator, extract 2 teaspoons of this onion liquid and add to the hot water.  Next add in the lemon juice, stir well and drink.
