Grapefruit and Orange Juice


Vitamin C is effective in preventing the common cold while both zinc and vitamin C are good in helping to alleviate the symptoms of the virus.  Both grapefruit and orange are high in vitamin C.  Orange also contains the needed zinc mineral and is a great protector against colds and flu.


1 grapefruit

1 large orange

Sparkling mineral water to taste


Remove the rinds from both citrus fruits leaving as much white pith as possible then break or cut the fruits into large sections.  Place all the ingredients into a juicer and blend well.  Add mineral water for the additional sparkle. Enjoy and ensure to drink this healthy juice regularly to keep the cold away.
