Juicing Recipes for Depression

Lemon Balm, Orange, Ginger and Cinnamon Drink


Lemon balm is great in helping to bring calm and to lighten your mood for cases of mild depression.  It is also believed that a lack of vitamin C and folate can contribute to depression.  Hence as orange juice contains properties of vitamin C and folate, it can help greatly in lifting depression.  Both ginger and cinnamon are also great mood lifters.


1 lemon balm tea bag

cup boiling water

Orange juice from 1 large orange

1 teaspoon finely grated fresh ginger

teaspoon ground cinnamon


Place the lemon balm tea bag in a cup and pour in the boiling water.  Cover the cup and let it steep for about 10-15 minutes.  Remove the tea bag and let it cool.  Add orange juice, fresh ginger and ground cinnamon to the lemon balm tea, stir well before drinking.
