Juicing Recipes for Nausea

Basil,  Fennel, Ginger and Nutmeg Drink

 

The combination of these anti-nausea and calming herbs and spices can effectively help to reduce feelings of nausea and any other stomach upset problems.

 

5 large basil leaves, finely chopped

cup boiling water

medium fennel bulb, chopped

inch piece fresh ginger

A pinch of ground nutmeg

 

Place the basil leaves in a bowl or a cup and add boiling water.  Cover and let it steep for about 10 to 15 minutes.  Strain the basil liquid out and let it cool.  Process both fennel and ginger in a juice extractor.  Add in the basil liquid, then whisk in the nutmeg.  Stir well and sip slowly.
