Juicing Recipes for Osteoporosis

Apricot, Apple , Almond and Milk Juice

 

Both milk and almonds are effective in helping to strengthen bones.  Dried fruits are high in both magnesium and calcium and contains boron, all of which are important for bone-building.

 

3-4 dried apricots

2-3 dried apples

15 grams unblanched almonds

150 ml fortified soy milk or plain milk

1/4 teaspoon vanilla essence

30 ml ice-cold water

 

Soak both dried apricots and apples in boiling water for 20 to 25 minutes.  Strain out the fruits and let it stand until cool.  Place drained fruits and the rest of the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
